We’re happy to introduce Caitlin Bohaboy, who joined the Alcorn Immigration Law team last year.
At Alcorn, Caitlin works as an administrative assistant, helping to make sure that all of our clients’ cases and government correspondences are handled smoothly. She ensures that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) hasn’t let anything slip through the cracks on any applications or petitions.
Working in the legal field and helping others gives Caitlin a sense of fulfillment. “I love being part of a team of people who are passionate about helping clients with immigration matters,” she says. “I have friends who are Dreamers, and others who have had to deal with immigration issues, so I know how vitally important our team’s work is.”
A Bay Area native, Caitlin first became interested in law when she interned at the Consumer and Environmental Protection Unit of the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office. She helped put together legal cases, conducted research and obtained evidence.
Caitlin earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with an emphasis in international relations from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Long term, she has plans to attend law school.
A vegetarian for more than a decade, Caitlin is an expert in plant-based cooking.
