I grew up in the suburbs of Southern California. I moved to Boston to attend the University of Massachusetts, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology.
Moving to metropolitan Boston from a California suburb was like moving to another country. I met brilliant people from all over the world, including my husband, who immigrated with his parents to the U.S. from Russia when he was a teen.
Getting to know my in-laws and their immigration story inspired me to enter this complex area of law. I remain impressed and moved by their patience and persistence to become U.S. citizens.
Before joining the Alcorn Immigration Law team, I worked in the Silicon Valley office of a large corporate immigration law firm as an assistant paralegal.
At Alcorn Immigration Law, I focus on business and employment-based immigration cases. I’m particularly fond of assisting with EB-1A green cards for individuals with extraordinary ability. I love meeting our clients and learning about their lives and their amazing accomplishments. I’m also currently pursuing a paralegal certification.
When I’m not working or studying or reading for recreation, I love spending time with my husband and our cat, Momo. I also love traveling and trying new foods.
