I have more than 20 years of experience in U.S. immigration law, as well as extensive experience in Canadian immigration. I specialize in helping large companies relocate employees to the U.S. and Canada, and provide support to employees and their families to facilitate their transition in hopes of building and achieving their long-term personal and professional goals.
I enjoy simplifying the process of navigating U.S. immigration laws and regulations for our clients, while maintaining compliance, improving the accuracy of deliverables and emphasizing quality customer service. Over the years, I have become an expert on creating efficiencies and integrating systems at various major immigration law firms. I also strive to foster a strong team environment and work-life balance for my colleagues.
Most recently, I worked as a business immigration specialist and key contributor for a global labor and employment firm. I assisted corporate clients in procuring temporary visas and work permits, as well as permanent resident status, for their employees. Many of these employees were highly educated and skilled professionals, including outstanding researchers and high-level executives.
At Alcorn Immigration Law, I oversee the firm’s business immigration operations and manage the business immigration production team. I am a native of Houston, Texas, where I also currently reside, and I look forward to working with clients and colleagues remotely using the latest in cross-office technology.
When I’m not working, I spend as much time as I can with my wife and two daughters, ages 9 and 14. I enjoy cooking, and I have been a part-time soccer coach and team manager for over nine years. I am also an avid guitar player, and I practice everyday to maintain a creative outlet and relieve stress.
I am glad to be a part of the Alcorn Immigration team!
