Hello!
I like to connect with people and help meet their needs, so I was drawn to being part of a team whose members are all passionate about immigration law and helping others.
I was interested in law when I was younger and pictured myself becoming a lawyer. I even joined a teen court during my high school years in Kentucky, where I was born and raised. But other interests and experiences intervened, and I pursued a career in the field of communication. I earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies at Georgetown College in Kentucky and a master’s in communication at North Carolina State University. I went on to become a professor of communication at various colleges in North Carolina, and currently serve as an Adjunct Professor at Campbell University.
As a life-long learner, I’m excited to expand my knowledge of immigration matters and apply my communication expertise to provide Alcorn clients and team members the utmost care. Even though I’m working remotely from Texas, I truly feel like a part of the office at Alcorn!
When I’m not working, I’m an avid yogi. I’m passionate about spending time with my pups, Henley, and Sam. On the weekends, you can often find me golfing or playing tennis. On occasion, you can find me brushing up on my Spanish language skills or reading the latest on communication and relationships!
Hablo un poco de español.
