I became a lawyer because I have a strong desire to help people. I want to make a difference in their lives. I’m motivated and driven, and very passionate about the work I do.
Previously, I worked at a boutique Silicon Valley law firm where I focused on civil litigation and family law. I often worked with the firm’s Spanish-speaking clients.
Hablo español con fluidez.
My father’s family immigrated to the U.S. from China and my father was born in Del Rio, Texas. My mother was born in Acuña, Mexico, and immigrated to the U.S. after she met my father. I was born and raised in Silicon Valley.
I joined Alcorn Immigration Law for the opportunity to focus on family immigration law and be a part of a team that feels like a family. Immigration law is really a rewarding area of law for me to be working in. Given my family history, I have great compassion for those seeking to live and work in the U.S. whether they’re seeking better opportunities for themselves and their families or to reunite with loved ones here.
I attended the University of San Francisco School of Law. While earning my degree. I worked at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office in San Francisco and at the Bay Area Legal Aid office in San Jose.
When I’m not working, I spend as much time as I can with my family and my dogs, Pearl and Luke. I enjoy working out at the gym, playing basketball, traveling, and Latin dancing.
