We’re pleased to introduce Gilberto Orozco Jr., an associate attorney, who focuses on business immigration.
Gilbert joined the Alcorn Immigration Law team earlier this year after working as a staff attorney at a large immigration law firm in the Bay Area. There, he focused on complex Request for Evidence (RFE) responses, PERM reviews, and nonimmigrant visa applications. At Alcorn, Gilbert has expanded his focus to all aspects of employment-based immigration matters.
“I’m excited to help people while growing alongside the fast-growing Alcorn Immigration Law,” he says.
Gilbert earned his law degree from Santa Clara University. He put himself through law school by working at the same law firm where he continued to work before joining the Alcorn team. “I find it very rewarding to help people find a legal immigration solution,” he says.
More About Gilbert
Since an early age, Gilbert knew he wanted to be an immigration lawyer. “I’m the son of immigrants from Mexico, so immigration has always been personal for me,” he says.
Born and raised in Mountain View, Gilbert began working for his father’s gardening and landscaping company when he was 11 years old. He continued to work with his father until he completed his bachelor’s degrees in Latin American and Latino Studies/Politics at U.C. Santa Cruz.
Gilbert is fluent in Spanish.
