The Alcorn Immigration Law team is pleased to introduce Edith Gomez. Edith joined the team earlier this year as our newest administrative assistant.
In that role, Edith helps make sure that we efficiently handle all of our clients’ cases and government correspondences. She also monitors processing by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on all applications or petitions.
“I’m happy to be working with the Alcorn Immigration Law team to help people get the opportunity to live and work in the U.S. as my parents did after arriving from Mexico,” she says.
In addition to family members who have gone through the immigration process, Edith also has family and friends who are Dreamers so she knows first-hand the importance of assisting people with the immigration process.
Born in Los Angeles, Edith grew up in Silicon Valley. She moved here with her family at the age of 2.
In 2018, Edith earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a minor in Latino/Latina Studies from San Francisco State University.
“Providing great customer service is what I’ve done in the hospitality and retail sectors during the past seven years,” says Edith, who also speaks Spanish. “I look forward to offering that same level of service to all Alcorn clients.”
