I didn’t start out working in immigration law, but once I started, I fell in love with it. I’m passionate about helping individuals and families. I understand how immigration impacts their lives and being able to help is rewarding. When I get thank you emails and phone calls, it makes me feel like I’m having an impact.
I’m excited to be working with the business immigration team. I love the collaborative and supportive environment at Alcorn, which comes through even though we’re all still working remotely. Post-pandemic, I’ll continue to work remotely from Raleigh, North Carolina.
I’m originally from Florida, so I used to do a lot of water activities in my free time. I’m a certified scuba diver. I used to race stand-up paddleboards. I also enjoy wheel-throwing pottery. I moved to Raleigh a little over a year ago, just before the pandemic, so when I’m not working, I enjoy finding new places to go on adventures, new hikes, and new lakes to play in with my dog, Sebastian—better known as Bash—who I adopted during the pandemic.
